Most clubs leave it on fair auto rotation and forget about it. If your group likes king-of-the-court energy or closer mixed-level pairs, switch the mode when you begin the session.
Fair auto rotation
After each set, the next four come from sets played, recent sit-outs, and partner variety — not who won. One shared bench across every court. Headcount goes up or down mid-evening and the rotation still makes sense.
Prefer winners stay on?
Winners keep the court; rested players come on to challenge. Keep pairs together for classic king-of-the-court, or split winners with two-up two-down so partners keep mixing.
Mixed levels in the group?
Still fair about who gets court time — then pairs are split by skill rating so a beginner and a strong player are not dumped on the same side every set.
Run the night from your phone
Open the live session, tick who's here, and start. One to four courts. Tap who won, enter the losing side's games, mark complete — then the next four are ready.
Someone walks in late? Add them to the bench. Someone's done for the night? Mark them done. Everyone else sees the same courts update in realtime, so you're not shouting across the glass.
Between sets
Score in a few taps — a set to 6 games, or a short set to 4 when the bench is long. Built for sweaty hands at the venue, not a spreadsheet at a desk.
When one court finishes first
Bring fresh players in, reshuffle the same four into new pairs, wait for the other courts, or rotate waiting courts together. Your call.
